Moving
Before moving the piano, we securely strap it to a specialized piano board using heavy-duty buckle straps. We then place a dolly beneath the piano board and securely strap the dolly to the piano for added stability and safety. From there, we carefully transport the piano to our truck using the dolly. Our trucks are equipped with lift gates, allowing the piano to be safely lifted into the truck without the use of ramps, reducing risk and ensuring a smoother, safer move.
Transport
Once the piano is inside the truck, we securely fasten it to the wall using heavy-duty ratchet straps to ensure it remains stable and protected throughout transportation, preventing any shifting or movement during the move.
Assembly
Once at your new home, we carefully place the piano exactly where you would like it. We then professionally reassemble the piano by reinstalling the legs, hinges, lid, and pedals, ensuring everything is properly secured and ready for use.
Protection Is Our Priority
Padding
We carefully wrap each piano with high-quality, extra-padded moving blankets, then secure the blankets in place with shrink wrap and tape to provide maximum protection throughout the move.
Disassemble
We carefully remove the piano lid, pedals, and hinges, then securely wrap each piece with padded moving blankets and shrink wrap for maximum protection. Next, we place protective blankets beneath the piano and remove the left front leg first. The piano is then gently lowered onto its long side onto a specialized piano board before the remaining legs are removed. Finally, each leg is individually wrapped in padded blankets to keep every component protected throughout the move.
